Delhi - Orchha
DelhiArrive :Delhi by ( Flight/Train ) Delhi is a city where time travel is feasible. The Delhi Metro makes you feel like you are travelling in a shuttle time machine which takes you from Old Delhi where people still use ordinary methods to work to modern New Delhi where there is the Parliament House and the beauty of a new born Delhi. It is time to celebrate this city which is a symbol of the country’s rich past and thriving present. Overnight stay at the Hotel
Delhi – VaranasiIn the morning you proceed for a guided tour to see different tourist spots starting off by visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. After visiting these places we will go to India Gate (War Memorial Arch.), Lakshminarayan Temple which is a modern Hindu Temple. Then drive past The Parliament House, President’s House and The Government Secretariat Buildings. After all the sightseeing, you will proceed towards Varanasi through a flight via Delhi Airport. Upon arrival you check in the hotel and rest. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
VaranasiOn the 3rd day of your trip you will go and explore Varanasi which is a beautiful spiritual city in India. The most famous spiritual place to visit is The KashiVishwanath Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and has also been referred to in the holy scriptures. The temple structure as it stands today consists of a series of smaller shrines located in the VishwanathGalli. In the evening you may proceed towards The Ganga Aarti performed by devotees and is a delight to watch. Proceed back towards the Hotel for dinner. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Varanasi – KhajurahoAfter a heavy breakfast check out from the hotel you will proceed towards the airport for a flight towards Khajuraho. When you arrive in Khajuraho, check in the hotel and rest for some time. After that gear up to explore Khajurao’s famous temples. The Khajuraho Temples which are are epitome of Indian advancement in mathematics, sciences and architechtural brilliance. The temples present an awesome sight even after 1000 years. After sightseeing head back to your hoyel for dinner.
Khajuraho – Orccha ( 180 kms – 4 hrs )In the morning you will check out from the hotel after having a healthy and delicious breakfast. After this you will proceed towards Orccha by road. When you will reach Orccha, check in the hotel and rest till evening. In evening proceed towards The Orccha Fort which is one of the most famous places in Orccha for a sound and light show. This show explains the history of the fort and that of Orccha. After this return back to the hotel for dinner.
Orccha – Agra ( 250 kms – 6 hrs )On your 6th day of tour you will start early by visiting The Chhatris Cenotaphs of the Maharajas of Orchha. These are all located on the banks of the Betwa River. These were built in the memory of the members of the royal family of Orchha. There are definitely wonderful to see and lets you give a wow factor. After sightseeing, you will proceed towards Agra by road. Upon reaching Agra, check in the hotel and rest as the rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
AgraIn the morning after a healthy breakfast proceed for sightseeing by first visiting the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen MumtazMahal to enshrine her mortal remains. After this visit The Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Keep your evening free for shopping of souvenirs for yourself and your loved ones. After this proceed back towards your hotel for dinner.
Agra – Jaipur ( 240 kms – 4 hrs )On the second last day of your trip you will check out from the hotel and proceed towards Jaipur for a 4 hr drive. Upon reaching Jaipur, check into the hotel and then gear up for a sightseeing to Amber Fort with an Elephant Ride ( at extra cost ) till the main entrance of the fort. The fort stands as a grand example of ancient Indian architecture. It is known for its blend of Rajput and Hindu style of architecture. The carvings on the ceiling and the walls are extraordinary features of this fort. Then move on towards the JalMahaland admire the exotic architectural styles that combine both Mughal and Rajput characteristics in one place. Also visit the Sheesh Mehal and Maharaja’s City Palace. Proceed back to the Hotel for dinner.
Jaipur – DelhiAfter breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Delhi. Upon reaching Delhi move in time towards respective departing areas with pleasant memories which you will treasure for a lifetime. Leave : Delhi by ( Airport / Railway Station )
